I've started to draw my own pictures of cars, since Kinja won't show me any.

If you're having trouble with the images, it might be the Cloudinary service that Kinja started using. Yowen worked out a simple userscript to replace the image urls because his office network was blocking Cloudinary.

I was wondering if there was something on my network, but the other sites were working, and all the images come from the same gawkerasset address. Is there a paticular witchcraft is the jaloppo sites are using that fucked up my morning and made me work?

Cloudinary shouldn't affect things, it should actually help image upload and display. That said, it looks like the issue is no longer present - though I know my reply is way late (Merry Xmas!) Can you guys confirm if this is still an issue?
